                             FROM THE PRESIDENT

If the crossing coming into Harborside is blocked for an extended period of time and you have an emergency dial 9-1-1. The county emergency services has a key to the access gates going through the Ascend property and they can access Harborside in this manner.

If the crossing is blocked for an extended amount of time and it is not an emergency there is a blue sign at the crossing with the number for CSX dispatch along with the crossing number. Anyone can call this number    (1-800-232-0144) and give the dispatch the crossing number and they should be able to tell you if there is a problem and how long they expect the crossing to be blocked. A picture of the crossing sign is attached.

As we have done before if the crossing is going to be blocked for several hours the board will work with Ascend to see if they will grant us access through their property. They are under no obligation to do this but they have worked very well with us in the past.

Thank you,
Ralph Ewing, President
